Daniel Etim Effiong was born on the 24th of June, 1988 into the family of Lt.Col Moses Effiong in Jaji, Kaduna State, Nigeria.
Daniel lost his mother when he was 5 years old. His father was among the people released in 1986 for a failed Vasta Coup by Muhammadu Buhari.
Daniel has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical engineering. Daniel worked in the oil and gas sector for a while and later decided to change their career path to the movie industry.
He, therefore went to AFDA Film School in South Africa to study writing, filmmaking, and directing. He also took a course in filmmaking at the University of Johannesburg.
