Christiana Nkemdilim Adelana was born on 24th December, 184. She’s popularly known as Tana Adelana. She is of Igbo descent, her family name is Egbo from Nkanu East LGA, Enugu State.
Tana Adelana, is a Nollywood actress, producer, model, TV presenter, and entrepreneur. She won the Best Supporting Actress Category of CITY, the People’s Movie Award 2017, and was the 2011 winner of the Personality of the year (TV) at the Future Awards. Also, the 2015 Grind Award Winner, Best Nollywood Actress 2018 and allow liter.
Tana came to the spotlight as an OAP after auditions for MTN Y’HELLO TV Show in 2002. She is also the first Nigerian on Channel O as a TV presenter. She made her introduction by acting in the TV series, Disclosure. She started her film production, Tana Adelana production in July 2013. In one of her movies titled Quick, She worked with actresses like Ufuoma Ejenobor, Chelsea Eze, and other performing artists. Some she acted in include Mr. & Mrs. Revolution, Body Language, Baby Daddy, etc.
Her achievements were possible giving credit to her strong and versatile educational background. She attended Treasure Land Nursery and Primary School in Surulere for her Primary School education and ST. Francis Catholic Secondary School in Idimu, Lagos.
She obtained a B.Sc. in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Thereafter, she got a Diploma Certificate in Makeup and Style from the Makeup Art School London (South African Campus). She later attended the Metropolitan School of Business and Management United Kingdom and earned a special executive master’s certificate in Leadership and Management from the metropolitan.
Tana Adelana is happily married to Femi Adelana, her long-time friend. The couple married on 11th September 2007 after dating for 14 years. Gracefully, the union is blessed with two children. Not much is known about them as she keeps her family out of the spotlight and has maintained a scandal-free marriage.
