Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi was born on 5th September, she hails from Abuchi, in Edo State, Nigeria. She is a Nigerian film actress, filmmaker, director, and producer. She spent her early life in Ibadan, Oyo State in Southwestern Nigeria. She attended St. Anne’s school for her secondary school education. From 2005-2004, she went to Osinachi Polytechnic Irene, where she obtained her Pre-National Diploma and Ordinary National Diploma. She went further to receive a Higher National Diploma Certificate in Marketing from Ibadan Polytechnic.
Toyin started acting in 2003 when Nigerian actress Bucky Wright came to Ibadan to shoot a movie. Since then she has produced, directed an,d featured in several films such as Alani Baba Labake, Ebimi ni, Black Val, Fate of Alakada (2020), Dear Affy (2020), Small Chops (2020), Elevator baby (2019), Don’t Get Mad, gets even (2019), Bling Lagosians (2019) and a lot more.
Also, Her reality show titled “Keeping up with Toyin Aimakhu was created and managed by the CEO of Tinimash Entertainment, Martini Animashaun.
Over the years, Toyin has been nominated and won several awards, including the “AMVCA for that Actress in Drama” for a role in “Elevator Baby”.
These huge contributions to the movie industry have averted her one of the highest-paid and most influential film actresses and filmmakers with an unknown estimated net worth. Coupled with that she is an ambassador to several brands and real estate companies.
Toyin during an interview revealed that she was born with dada(dreadlocks) She said that one of the challenges she encountered back then was not listening to herself, however, she began to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit, and things remarkably changed for her.
In 2019, after a failed marriage, Toyin is happily married to Kola Ajeyemi, with a son and a stepdaughter.
